NORTN N,i am confuse, does your answer refer to inflammation and itching of the skin?
Yes, as to advice, see a Dermotologist, Not a GP. Mine was diagnosed finally with a skin scraping.

After 3 months of treatment I saw significant improvement.

I would call my GP first, and ask for a referral to a dermotologist.

In groin area dark, dust like coming, color changing, but no itching. if wet, skin also become thin, jockitc

Do you have stinging pains? If you do, it might be STD of some sort. But don't worry, I'm just giving you the worse case scenario.

But if there's no pain, just irritations, then it might be fungal infection. Dark area means it's inflamed. Fungal infection looks a lot like jock itch. If you don't treat it soon, it can blister and that's irritating.

Use Hydrozole cream and continue using it up til one or two week after the infection clears. however I think hydrozole is prescription only medication. Go to your doctor to have it checked if you really want to be sure.

Why does my skin itch whenever I get hot?

Whenever I get hot (in the winter), my skin itches all over. This itching feeling also comes on when I am in a situation that causes my body temperature to increase, say I am in a conversation that makes me anxious / nervous. The itching is mainly concentrated around my feet (below the ankle), hands (wrists) and head (Scalp).

Why does my skin itch whenever I get hot?
hope the link below helps.

Unfortunately it doesnt talk about the itching you experience during a nervous or anxious state
Reply:You have got an allergy of heat.definitely.
Reply:You have skin allergy...
Reply:plz consult a specialist
Reply:Sometimes itching in areas is the result of a yeast infection (candida albicans). One way to see if this may be the cause is to get a tube of antifungal cream, and spread it on one of the areas while you are itching, and see if that makes a difference.

It may take a few minutes, but if it works, and the itching is reduced or eliminated then check out www.hufa.org - the yeast link, to get basic info on candida albicans.

Why does my skin itch/burn sometimes when it gets wet? (especially after showering or sweating)?

Most often it is a severe burning about 10 minutes after showering, regardless of the water temperature. However a chlorinated spa tub (hot water) seems to relieve it. It does seem to be related to dry skin, however lotion doesn't appear to help. It sometimes makes it worse after applying. Sometimes when not itching, lotion will cause the itch onset. Sweating also seems to bring the itch on.

You may have a mild form of urticaria (hives). There is one type, most commonly seen in young men (age approx. 18 to mid 20s) called cholinergic urticaria, which is hives induced by heat. Sweating, warm/hot showers, exercise, strong emotions, anything that raises the core body temperature, can bring out the itching. It usually appears with rash consisting of tiny red bumps, which resolve soon after the body temperature has cooled. Some people find that extremely hot water, like you'd find in a hot tub, actually helps relieve the itch of hives (due to forcing mast cell degranulation), but if you have cholinergic urticaria this can be dangerous, since you can experience a histamine dump from all those mast cells degranulating.
Reply:you should see a allergy specialist for any allergys you may have and also check the components that are in your water there may be a small chance that it could be doing serious harm to your body

Why is my skin itch when i exercise?

i mean im fine for a little bit but when the asthma kick in and i can't breathe that well i start to itch everywhere.

its not a normal itch it feels like its almost under the skin kind of like prickling, and itching doesn't really help.

it happened last nite for ther first time without exercise i was just getting ready to go to bed and i starting itching like crazy.

Why is my skin itch when i exercise?
Itching is most likely to occur after you walk or run, usually if you have just started to exercise in your lifetime or when you increase your intensity. Blood is being forced so hard through your body that it is able to reach your capillaries which are very small. This causes your capillaries to itch because they have been without blood for a while and they are opening up as the blood is pumped through. If you don't get the blood to the capillaries in your body they will die and turn blue- also called varacose veins. So itching in this case is really really good.

Name the internal disorders that are linked to mild persistent itching of the skin.?

Hi there,

Do you have allergies? Also, is there ever little welts or hives on your skin? Any burning? I ask because I suffer with thhe same thing and still don't knwo EXACTLY what is causign it. I do however have allergies to seafood. Sometimes I think I get this way with the itching because I accidentally have seafood in sauces etc.

I know there is some sort of blood condition that pregnant women get that causes their skin to itch.
Reply:Atopic Dermatitis, and allergies are two that I can think of off the top of my head. You should see a dermatologist to see of anything they can do. Since getting treatment for my atopoic dermatitis I've had it under control and I don't have any itching anymore!

I believe my dog to be a Belgium Malinois (Shepard mix?). What are solutions to itching and biting skin?

I believe Pepper to have allergies, but I'm not 100% sure. I've tried switching food, flea medicines, detergents, etc. She constantly itches and bites herself; sometimes causing open sores. She concentrates most on her paws, tail, and privates. The vet only offers benadryl as a solution. It does nothing but make her drowsy. I've tried different anti-itch soaps and sprays. NOTHING WORKS! I feel very bad for her as I could not imagine having to scratch every 5 seconds! Help!

Try to figure out what the allergy is too. German shepherds have some problems with food and medicine/flea prevention allergies. If this isn't the problem, try giving your dog a hardboiled egg every couple of days. They are very good for the skin and coat. It could also be seasonal allergies or a reaction to something used to treat the grass in your neighborhood or pollution in the air or shampoos, her dog bed, or the detergent you use on your clothes, or whatever. It could also be dry skin which could be treated with specific shampoos or it could be an infestation like fleas. Another option that might sound silly but I've seen in action is that the dog is acting out an emotional problem. I once cared for a Bichon Frise with the same symptoms and eventually figured out that she became self-destructive, especially pulling the fur off her feet until they bled, over being left for boarding while her family was frequently out of town. If you exhaust all the physical problems (and seriously consider all those possibilities because they are much more likely to be the true cause), you may want to try getting the dog some distractions. Belgian Malinois are notorious for being too smart for their own good. Get some puzzle toys, like the balls that release treats through a maze mechanism so the dog has to bat it around the room for awhile to get the treats out. Also try setting aside some time every day to lavish attention on the dog.
Reply:i suggest eqyys products... i've used them on my dogs before with great results... you can order the products online or look in your local feed store
Reply:I suggest you to take your dog to vet. my dog used to itching and biting skin so took him to vet already so it seem stop. maybe fleas in your dog's skin.
