Bugs under my skin, crazy itching?

Ok, so my aunt is itching really bad - indescribably bad. She says it feels like there are bugs that are under her skin, all over her head, that are biting her and leaving little marks. She has seen bugs in her bed, about the size and color of pepper. No doctor knows what's the matter.

Does anyone know? I feel really bad for her! Please help!

Bugs under my skin, crazy itching?
I would be interested in whether she has taken any thing for sinus, stuffy nose. Some over the counter decongestant. I once took a couple of these and in the next hour felt like I had flies crawling all over my legs and arms, I had a bad reaction to the over the counter pills. If this is not the case, take everything off the bed, mattress pad, sheets, pillow cases and wash them in hot sudsy water, this could also be scabies, and the hot water will kill them. If it is indeed scabies, she needs to get a prescription from her doctor for kwell and it should be spread all over her, from hair to feet, and then washed off the next morning. Nice of you to help her.

I remember that you had an itching head not too long ago, and you had some sores in your scalp. Could this be from the same thing?
Reply:well does she have cats or dogs in the house.....well it could be fleas....i had a dog sleep in my bed...i always was bit up by fleas ....until we defleaed him and the whole house.
Reply:It sounds like a myth, but there is such a critter as a bedbug.
Reply:Seriously, my first thought was that she was having DTs from alcohol withdrawal... but assuming that's not the case, I'd try fleas/licel and/bedbugs. Vacuum the mattress and everything else in the house. By the way, bugs can get under your skin. It's pretty rare and it doesn't sound related... but it's possible.

Itching skin??

Hi, recently I've been getting these sort of itches all over my body that look like the skin has been bitten by some kind of insect, I'm not sure how i get them. I've only been getting them for the past day though, and it started last night. I'm wondering if it could be some kinda bug that lives in beds, and sometimes the more I scratch the bigger the itch becomes. I don't know if it was something I ate, because this didnt happen to anyone else.

There aren't any bite marks that I can see, and they usually begin with a tiny itch and if I scratch the skin, there would appear some mosquito-looking bite marks. If anyone knows what to do or what they could be, please help, its driving me insane!!!

Itching skin??
could be hives or just dry skin go to the doctors and he will give you some lotion that will help. Take a bath in that oatmeal!
Reply:It could be bed bugs especiall if you did not sleep in your own bed last night. Or its more likely thats its hives. You may have eaten or touched something that you did not know you were allergic to. A sure way to know if its hives is if it spreads when you scratch. Kinda like poison ivy. I would suggest taking some benadryl and see if that does any good.
Reply:it sounds to me like you have uticaria.

i was diagnosed with this about three years ago and when you say its driving you mad i know exactly what you mean.

i suffer with the cronic stain and its terrible until you get the right meds.

i use cetriziene but you can get many antihistimenes start taking them daily and you will notice the difference almost straight away.

hope this helps babe

How do you stop your skin from itching when you have dry skin?

I do shower and bathe, and use the afterbath/shower lotions and creams, which helps the itch for at least twenty-four hours. But is there anything to help my dry skin from itching more than 24 hours, like creams or other remedies? I know it's not a disease, but a dry skin condition.

How do you stop your skin from itching when you have dry skin?
You probably have exzema. I have exzema. It sucks. Try using one of the Aveeno soaps for sensitive skin. Not the body wash, the soap. And use a buffpuff body scrubber to exfoliate your entire body when you shower. Then use a heavy duty cream or lotion like Cetaphil. This should help. And drink lots of water.

Reply:Sometimes in the winter I experience dryness/itching on my legs. The best remedy I've found is a lotion called Cornhuskers. It's nothing fancy; the scent isn't wonderful, but it works, at least for me. I put it on after drying off from a shower and any other time I feel the itching. Usually once or twice a day during the worst times.
Reply:Dry skin conditions can be the result of a fungus (Candida). The candida fungus is very subtle. Try an antifungal ointment on a patch of the itches, and if it prevents the itch from coming back for more than 24 hours in that area then that might tell you something.

Check out www.hufa.org - the yeast link - for more basic info about this candida (yeast) fungus.

If you get athletes' feet, nail fungus, thrush, vaginitis or have an immune or blood sugar imbalance, these are indications of a yeast syndrome.
Reply:squirt some lotion on it

If our skin is itching, we scratch - and rub in dirt and bacteria. Why did nature invent itching at all?

Scratching is kind of nice at first, but on the downside it tends to aggravate the skin. In combination with mosquito bites or neurodermitis, to name just two examples, things are usually getting worse before they get any better. Could anyone think of some superior purpose lying within the concept of "itching", rather than simply sticking with the good old "pain"?

If our skin is itching, we scratch - and rub in dirt and bacteria. Why did nature invent itching at all?
Well, three quesses.

According to your hypothesis we rub in dirt and bacteria, so maybe nature is doing this on purpose to make us get bateria on us to build up our immune systems.

Or maybe there are chemicals or enzymes in things that bite us or touch our skin (like being allergic to metal) that cause the itch.

But I think the most popular answer to this queston would have something to do with the fact that during a months time your skin is completeky recycled meaning, the layer that was on the very bottom at the begining of that month is now the top layer of skin. You itch because dead skin is needing to be scracted off.
Reply:It alerts the body that something is going on and should be taken care of. There is no other superior reason behind it other than a reminder that it itches and you should find lemon or salt, or whatever you have around to neutrilized the effect.
Reply:its an evolutionary thing i guess. plus itching can make u get rid of stuff on ur skin that cud harm u, it doesnt always rub it in.
Reply:Histamine is released as part of the imflammatory response. This makes the capillaries more 'leaky' so white blood cells can leave them, thus reaching the site of infection so they can start the immune response.

It is histamine which causes the itching, hence the reason why anti-histamine cream is effective on bites.
Reply:I've also thought about this... superior purpose...as to why we scratch. I'm thinking that it might provide a beneficial increase in circulation that aids healing.

For the insect sting/bite it may help to dissipate the problem. For neurologically stimulated itching--no clue as to a beneficial effect.

If you think of it, most of our actions and reactions were born of survival necessities to benefit us until we procreate.

I don't know, this seems a rather subjective "science" to second-guess why we have or do this or that. What is the appendix for? Why do we sneeze when we look at the sun? Why does your little finger hurt when you bump your elbow? --but it's lots of fun. I think it gives insight into our ancestors' tribulations as well.

Good luck on getting an answer you like.

My skin is itching so badly that I'm scratching until I bleed, especially my arms. Why?

First let me say I am not crazy or on any type of medicine or drugs. But for the last 3 weeks my skin has been itching uncontroably, particularly my arms. I scratch until it hurts. There are no bumps or rash spots I just itch. I keep putting lotion on because I thought it was dry skin but I just itch the same amount. What is going on with my skin. Uggg!

My skin is itching so badly that I'm scratching until I bleed, especially my arms. Why?
You could have contracted a parasite called Scabies- itching is usually limited to the arms and chest area- if you have a black light and some iodine you can tell for sure- just paint some iodine on the itchy places and turn the black light on in a dark room- the scabies will have that black light glow. Often there is no rash or outward signs of these parasites- just an intense itch that seems to worsen at night- you'll need a script from the doc to get rid of them if thats what it is (don't freak- they're common and clean people get them too)
Reply:use hydrocortizone and rub it on where it itches
Reply:could be a skin condition called eczima, which my daughter has. you could try a very thick lotion called Eucerin which i use for her. it could also be an allergy to dryer sheets, new detergent, something you ate, etc.......i'd go to a dermotologist.
Reply:I agree with Sassy Gal. Using Eucerin creams will help. There are two on the market now. One is a calming cream and the other is a lotion. If you use them together it is even better. Have you been eatting something new? Using new items for the laundry or showers? Change your bed sheets. My husband went to the Dermatologist and he said sometimes it just happens use those creams, they really work.

I get night sweats %26amp; itching skin when taking conium maculatum 6c. (3 a day)?
What u are taking is actually poison hemlock. One of the side effects is death ! Was once given as capital punishment by early Greeks !

Naturalized in USA, NC.

Poisonous Part

All parts. Leaves mistaken for parsley and seeds mistaken for anise. "Cup of hemlock" once used by early Greeks for capital punishment.

Symptoms

Salivation, vomiting, diarrhea, muscular weakness, paralysis, nervousness, trembling, dilation of pupils, weak pulse, convulsions, coma.

Toxic Principle

Alkaloids coniine and others.

HIGHLY TOXIC, MAY BE FATAL IF EATEN!
Reply:No it is not one of the side effects because HOMEOPATHY DOES NOT WORK! what you are taking is either plain sugar or water, so no worries. maybe you should stop paying so much for little sugar pills and water, they won't make you any healthier ;)

i'd suggest visiting a real doctor

EDIT: btw, the first answerer is wrong. there are no molecules of that poison left in a 6c dillusion, don't worry, you are simply drinking water/eating sugar. but that sure won't help you with whatever you're suffering either

Itching skin help?

anyone know what's wrong with me?

1. i feel itchy all over my limbs - ARMS and LEGS only.

2. there are no bitemarks, or whatever. skin looks normal and i just feel itchy and that i have to scratch. and after scratching for awhile, a few spots appear in the itchy region - pinkish and raised (like a little pimple), which will usually scab later and leave an unsightly scar.

3. i work in an air-con blasting office and i do not get the chance to step out. so i'm always in a cold and dry environment. but the temperature in my country is in its 30s (celsius), and humidity level is really high (more than 70%). point is, when i'm in the office, i never itch, but once i finish work, and am outside, i'll start feeling itchy awhile later.

4. my mum told me that it's dry skin, but i've put on LOTS of oils and lotions but i'm still itching.

please help, i'm desperate and i have no idea what's going on.

Itching skin help?
It could be atopic dermatitis or contact dermatitis. For diagnosing atopic dermatitis, you may be able to find the cause by having a skin-prick test which tests a number of common causes of eczema by looking at the skins reaction. For contact you need to look at your daily routine and chemicals that you come into contact with often.

you can find more information at

http://www.nutrition4yourskin.co.uk/
Reply:Is it the washing powder your Mum is using? You mention just your arms and legs, do your arms and legs come in contact with something that the rest of your body doesnt?

Put bicarb of soda into some water and wash the itchy area with this solution and you will find the itchiness will stop.

If this continues you should go and see the Doctor he will be able to help you.

use selsein blue as a body wash with a puff in the shower. Then wait 15 minutes and apply neostrata 10% aha body moisturizer. Wash with selsein blue for about 4 days in a row the first week. Then 2x the 2nd week and so on
Reply:i have that too i went to a dermatologist for it and was told to take benadryl it works
Reply:Try drinking lots more water to hydrate the skin from the inside out. I had the same problem and my skin was a mess. I started drinking a big glass of water at least one each hour, it took a couple of days but then I noticed a huge difference. Also if you drink lots of coffee try to cut back because apparently caffeine is very dehydrating.

Itching skin help?
it is irritation. Happens to a lot of people
Reply:Try putting on aloe vera gel.

Or hydrocortizone. (Don't put that on your face though)
Reply:poison ivy?

also cortizone helps itching.
Reply:I would suggest seeing a dermatologist as there may be more to it than just dry itchy skin.
Reply:It could be dry skin, but women are susceptible to gall bladder problems (gall stones) which can lead to itching over the body. But it's hard to say if there is no other info and I don't know your age etc. It could also be some sort of allergic reaction to a detergent or clothing, see your physician and tell them of your concerns.
Reply:You could try benedryl cream, aloe, or hydrocortsone. either you have an allergy or you have dry skin and you are using a lotion that is irritating your skin.
Reply:You need to see a doctor, because it can be many or a combination of things. You can be allergic to your work environment or all of a sudden become allergic, it can be a change in laundry detergents, fabric issues, internally, or whatever.

It's not normal to itch all the time. Only a doctor can diagnose what you have.
Reply:Sounds like you may have eczema; it's a condition people have when they have trouble keeping moisture in their skin. It normally affects regions of the body that bend like the inside of the elbows or even the back of the knees. Your job may have the perfect environment for your skin to stay moisturized and the cold outside air strips the little moisture you have causing it to dry and crack which is causing the itching in the first place; see a Dermatologist...
Reply:The weather can impact your skin a lot. There's more info on dry skin and things that can make it worse at http://www.healthandwellnesscentral.com/...

Also, when you shower make sure you don't use over hot water. And put moisturizers on while skin is still slightly damp, so you seal the moisture in. Look for a moisturizer without perfumes, maybe one called hypoallergenic or for sensitive skin. You might want a humidifier at home to add moisture so your skin wont dry out as much.

What could be the reason for skin itching and subsequent bumps on the skin, which disappears after a while?

Sometimes my skin itch and whilst scratching, bumps appear on my skin which later disappears. These bumps in my country are called FRESH BLOOD. Could you advice on what could be done in order to address this health problem?

What could be the reason for skin itching and subsequent bumps on the skin, which disappears after a while?
Actually sounds like heat rash. Keep the skin dry, and try to find a type of medicated powder such as Gold Bond Or Fissars
Reply:Stop scratching.
Reply:It sounds like you have an allergy my friend.

You need to go to your family doctor then he/she will refer you to a specialist to find out what you are allergic to.
Reply:where does it itch????? you may need to see a doctor
Reply:Instead of scratching, use a creamy body lotion. Ones that contain oatmeal are good. Sometimes dry skin causes itchiness. Or it could be a reaction to soap or detergent. If the problem persists, try switching to soaps for sensitive skin. Also, when I was younger I used to get red bumps on the side of my arms. They faded as I got older.
Reply:You might have an ellergy. Best to get it looked at by a dermatologist.
Reply:First you might want to consider going to the doctor to get it checked out. We can give you our opinions on what it could be but ultimately it comes down to going to see a doctor. It sounds like to me you might be having an allergic reaction to something. In which that is called hives. When having an allergic reaction you will begin to itch and you will itch extremely bad and it also produces bumps. It might be suggested to try and get some benadryl or something along those lines, something over the counter to realize the itching and symptoms. That is of course until you can get into the doctor though. I would definitely get it checked out because you can never be to sure with all of the many new sicknesses being found daily. Good Luck!!

Reply:Go to a doctor. They will prescribe something and if its nerves they can help with that too. Good luck.
Reply:could be a lot of things. you could have a rash or it may just be dry skin. get a good moisturizing lotion and it that doesnt work see a dermatologist because it could be something serious.
Reply:Try an oatmeal soak like Aveeno and try their oatmeal based lotion after to soothe itchy dry skin. It could be eczema which has 100's of different remedies, it usu sally depends on the individual. Try looking for a pamphlet, "IT WORKS FOR ME!" From the National eczema/Psoriasis Foundation. I think, it's a booklet that lists remedies people have tried and works for them. And by trial and error using bits and pieces of different listings, find out what works for you. Be advised the cause of most skin itching is largely unknown to the experts, and after finding "your cure", %26amp; using it for a while, it may stop working for you %26amp; you'll have to try again with something else. Good luck!!

What could cause under skin itching where contacted by clothes or jewelry?

I'm recovering from leg surgery, except for drug side effects, what could cause an "under skin" itch sensation anywhere pressure is applied to my skin. Like while sitting, my back itches. Lay on my side, my side later itches. Where my watch was itches.

What could cause under skin itching where contacted by clothes or jewelry?
A possible cause may be the laundry detergents you are using. Most contain perfumes and ingredients that can cause an allergic reaction (itching).

Many watches/jewelry contain nickel which can cause itching in those with sensitivities. Rubber/plastic straps may contain latex which could be another cause.

Taking adderall and all of a sudden have developed severe skin itching..?

I am 32 years old and have taken adderall before while in school but I have not takin it for this long of a period of time without a break so I am not sure if this is a side effect.

I have been taking it everyday since August 10th. I take a 20mgs a day. Sometimes i got a day without it.

For about a week and half now I have had EXTREME skin itching especially in scalp. I thought it was my soap so I stopped that. At times it gets so bad that I take a bath 3 times a day. Tonight I am so frustrated and have itched my head so bad that my roots hurt.

I last took 10mg of Adderall yesterday and none today

has anyone else experienced this?

I have stopped everything-switched out laundry det., switch bath soap-not used soap, everything you can think of...

i am pulling straws now thing it might be the adderall.

Taking adderall and all of a sudden have developed severe skin itching..?
It's definitely an allergic reaction. You need to take benedryl, 50 mg every 4 hours. And if your tongue begins to swell, or it becomes difficult to breathe, call 911. Otherwise see your dr. in the morning.

TX Mom
Reply:You need to talk to your doctor or your pharmacist. In the meantime, please take 50mg of Benadryl or a 10mg Claritin to stop the itching. Please do not shower three times a day, you're only making matters worse.

More than likely a side effect of the drug. You can have side effects now that you didn't have before. If the Adderall works well for you, you might have to get used to taking it with Benadryl, Claritin, or some hydroxyzine. You'll need to get a prescription for the hydroxyzine though.

If you are going to change your soap go with dye free, perfume free soap like Dove. Dye free, perfume free laundry detergent and fabric softener are good move, too.

To soothe the itchy skin, try some Eucerin Calming Cream. It feels very good and combined with an anti-histamine should provide you with relief right away.

Hope you quit itching soon.
Reply:I too have times of extreme itching. I have been taking the generic form for many months. It started when I had this persciption filled about 3 weeks ago with one little dot on the inside of my right wrist. Then the next night that same dot itched but I had a few more; on my left forearm, one on top of my right foot and a few on my shins. Every night there are a few more tiny little itchy dots. They are appearing almost all over. Not the typical places where clothing rubs. None on my face yet. One or two in my scalp. Since they are not in my scalp I thought it was my bath soap, or laundry detergent, etc. I too am thinking it is the meds. I even called the pharmacy that begins with a W. on Friday to see if anyone else had reported itching since their last perscription was filled. No one else.

My wife would like to know how to stop her skin from itching so much after a bath or shower. As soon as she begins to dry herself the itching starts and lasts for about 30 minutes. She says its unbearable. Any advice ( apart from the obvious dont have a bath or shower ). Thanks

How do i stop my skin itching so much after a bath or shower?
It's soap or water. If she has problem even without soap, then it's water. Does she have problems when she goes out of town and use different water? There are some water softening device you can install for water supply in your house, but, it's rather expensive. Google and see if there is some kind of water softening you can buy just for shower head.
Reply:could be a medical condition, but more likely than not i would say EXFOLIATE.
Reply:Try lotion the soaps maybe washing away the positve oils in her skin causing her body to itch seems to worse during winter
Reply:It's the soap she uses. I would try a less powerful soap. It could be that she doesn't wash the soap off enough too.
Reply:i know what she means mine does the same thing. i think its the water. we use city water and i think they put too much bleach in the water supply. i just use lotions.
Reply:I found I'd get itchy when I made the water too hot.

I try to use bath products that aren't too strong or perfumed.

hope this helps
Reply:try talk power
Reply:change your soap its obviously irritating you
Reply:I had this problem too! I found that moisturising before and after a shower or bath worked to some extent. Also try not having the water too warm. If all else fails check with your G.P about taking an anti- histamine. Some are available without prescription. Hope this helps.
Reply:get fragrance free products, simple are really good, and use a good moisturiser..... also fragance free...

and dont 'wash' or 'dry' to hard!!
Reply:It sounds like she is allergic to lanoline in soap and shower washes, this is animal fat and can irritate the skin, there are some lanoline free soaps and washes on the market, ask at your nearest Boots. T.he other option is to dry her down and then rub moisturiser over her whole body, lanoline tends to dry out her skin and it may be that her skin is just too dehydrated after a shower
Reply:a cooler shower should help

plus colder weather makes our skin drier

lots of lotion!
Reply:tell your wife to use palmers butter cocoa body moisturiser after she has dried herself. my black friends swear by it. if this does not work go to the doctor as she may have a skin problem.
Reply:Oh dear! You need a chemical free soap. Try health shops for those or Holland and Barrett on line.
Reply:Is your water very hard? My daughter and I get this especially when it starts getting cold. I buy horribly expensive soaps from the pharmacy, which help a lot and something called Aveeno Colloidial which is like oaty powder that you put in the bath water. The doctor advised cold cream too. All this does help but we're still itchy until the weather warms up. The doctor says there's not a lot you can do about it.
Reply:I suspect that she uses a lot of soap or shower gel. These are nothing more than Chemical cocktails and contain all kinds of chemicals any of which could make you itch.

If she washes her hair every time she has a shower the same applies with shampoo. Also if the water is too hot this can have a similar effect.

Try showering with cooler water and use SIMPLE soap from Sainsbury's. Also try to not to apply loads of soap to get a big lather.

Hope this helps you, it helped me.
Reply:Tell her to put moisturizing lotion on everywhere she is itchy and that should help. Your skin need moisture and a shower or bath pretty much takes some out and she might need more.
Reply:maybe as it starts when she is drying herself it could be the washing powder, try a non bio, or fairy if it dosent clear up, i suggest a visit to dr. good luck.
Reply:believe it or not the water's too hot. and is stripping away the natural oils that keep the skin cool and calm.
Reply:she might need to use a mousterizing body lotion after bathing or showering..
Reply:well some people do not need to shower everyday. If she chooses to take a shower everyday maybe she should use a soap that is more mild live Ivory. Maybe she should go to the doctor and see if it is dermatitis condition. In the winter unless she is very active and sweats a lot she may not need to shower as much. If she does continue to shower maybe it is her shampoo that is causing it or the cream rinse. Make sure she stands and rinses very well. Also not use extremely hot water another solution. When all else fails go get it checked out.
Reply:its the detergents in bath products. I usually have to have showers or have a bath in just water because i'm allergic to all the soaps and things. The main cause is one called sodium laureth sulfate, its in most things, especially shampoos, avoid these chemicals and you'll be fine. If you feel sick as well, i would say this is definitely the cause.
Reply:probably u are allegic wiith the soap u are using. try to change what u are using. get something with hypo allergenic. try it! it may work.. if not u gotta go to dermatologist. or always using moisturizer cream.. i use to have itchiness and i was scared that it may create a scars. so i went to the doctor he gave me a medicine to reduce my itchiess so i may not scracth it. and a cream that really works all doctors can give u something like that. if it's worst it may have something to do with ur sweat that creates itchiness.
Reply:use soap or bodywash with moisturizer in it
Reply:interesting...tell her to scratch the itch
Reply:its a problem usually caused by having the water too hot
Reply:Allergic reaction to the type of water and/or cleansing solution/soap. Also the possibility of mites in the bedding that are within the epidermal layer. Start with a body wash instead of a soap, Check to see the quality and hardness of the municipal water supply many of which are loaded with high levels of chlorine and other purifying agents. If you own your own home you may have to invest in a water softener. After that if the problem persists have your mattress and bedding treated for microscopic parasites that imbed themselves in the skin.
Reply:Exactly what some of them above said. Could be the hot water (chemicals in it to keep it from exchanging heat too fast) or strong soaps. Try a different soap, or a soap free (glycerine containing) products. Moisturize when skin is still moist.
Reply:Changed you current used soap...
Reply:My grandma has the same problem and I got her Curel. You can also use Eucerin, they both work great. My boyfriend and my friend also use them. They have eczema and both moisturisers work for them.

Some people have answered it's because of hot or cold water, it doesn't matter how cold or hot the water is, you will itch if you have eczema regardless. I hope you take my advice and try Curel or Eucerin. Good luck!

Our 4 year old dog has severe skin itching & lesions. The Vet gave him shots that made it worse. Please help?

My father's dog who is 4 years old suddenly developed severe skin itching. He started biting himself. He was taken to a hospital where a vet administered shots for 3 days. The itching seemed to cease. However on the 4th day, another vet decided to change the shot. Thereafter he developed severe lesions especially in the groin. The itching is extremely severe and he is in pain and is getting aggressive. He cannot keep food down. The only thing that seems to help is a herbal prickly heat powder that somewhat seems to soothe him. However he is very restless and hurting from the itching and sores. These are red, inflamed and oozing.

He was a stray and we got him as a puppy and seems to be a mixed breed. We do not want to take him back to the vet as the shots caused this aggravation. We tried to put amla (indian gooseberry powder) and neem powder but it made it sting even more. Are there any herbal remedies or medicines that can help?

Without a diagnosis it would be impossible for me to recommend anything.

Many many things can cause skin issues (food, allergens, bacteria, infection, fleas, etc.). Each issue will have its own treatment plan.
Reply:Try a different food, one of very high quality. Something like Canidae, which claims to cure skin conditions.
Reply:There are no remedies, herbal or any other kind, that can help when there's no diagnosis as to what's causing it.

Since the last vet you went to obviously didn't help this poor dog, go to a different vet! If this dog is in so much pain that it's causing aggression, he needs help desperately.
Reply:Did the vet ever address food allergies before doing shots? Good lord!

What does the dog eat? If its got common allergens like wheat or corn that would be the first thing to change, either by going to a high end dry food or canned food. You may also need to look into novel proteins like duck, rabbit, lamb or venison.

Try doing a google search for dog food allergies
Reply:Take him to the orignal vet. Find out what they were giving him that seems to help. Demand that to be given agian. Of course he is becoming aggressive... hes in pain...you get cranky when you hurt don't you? You need to find out what the is causing the skin problem before you can treat it... and before the open wounds become infected...

How can I eliminate extreme skin itching?

My body starts itching really bad when it gets warmer. Before it was only itching when I was working out in the gym, now it itches when I simply ride my bike. And the itching actually becomes more serious during winter time. I do have dry skin and I've been using moisturizers sporadically. But they didn't really help. When it occurs, it is really extreme and painful. It usually takes over my back and my chest and you don't know where to start scratching. Please help me find the cause of this and some effective therapy.

Try using a soap called Cetaphil. It should help even more with the dry skin. DON'T scratch! Scratching, as hard as it is not to do, will actually make it worse. Believe me, I've had similar issues my whole life. Try the Cetaphil soap. Cetaphil also has a lotion that goes with it that will give an added boost. Try it and if you don't see a change within a week or two, I suggest seeing a dermatologist. Good Luck! I feel your pain!!!
Reply:Why don't you go see a doctor. If you keep scratching you might start bleeding and it will leave scars. My sister had something like that on her elbows and sh got a prescription. Good Luck
Reply:OMG...LOL JUST RUB THE ITCHING SPOT WITH LEMON

I SWEAR IT WIL WORK
Reply:get some medicated lotion or go see a doc. it is a dry skin thing.
