Itching skin help?

anyone know what's wrong with me?

1. i feel itchy all over my limbs - ARMS and LEGS only.

2. there are no bitemarks, or whatever. skin looks normal and i just feel itchy and that i have to scratch. and after scratching for awhile, a few spots appear in the itchy region - pinkish and raised (like a little pimple), which will usually scab later and leave an unsightly scar.

3. i work in an air-con blasting office and i do not get the chance to step out. so i'm always in a cold and dry environment. but the temperature in my country is in its 30s (celsius), and humidity level is really high (more than 70%). point is, when i'm in the office, i never itch, but once i finish work, and am outside, i'll start feeling itchy awhile later.

4. my mum told me that it's dry skin, but i've put on LOTS of oils and lotions but i'm still itching.

please help, i'm desperate and i have no idea what's going on.

Itching skin help?
It could be atopic dermatitis or contact dermatitis. For diagnosing atopic dermatitis, you may be able to find the cause by having a skin-prick test which tests a number of common causes of eczema by looking at the skins reaction. For contact you need to look at your daily routine and chemicals that you come into contact with often.

Reply:Is it the washing powder your Mum is using? You mention just your arms and legs, do your arms and legs come in contact with something that the rest of your body doesnt?

Put bicarb of soda into some water and wash the itchy area with this solution and you will find the itchiness will stop.

If this continues you should go and see the Doctor he will be able to help you.
