That's fiberglass.. I would cover yourself as much as possible with long sleeves, long pants, a mask over your mouth and nose.. possibly safety glasses, too.

First wash with fresh water and wipe to dry. Then apply Calamine Diphenhydramine "CALADRYL" lotion to your itchy skin. You can buy this at any pharmacy or drug store near you.
