What does severe burning and itching of the scrotom skin after the fourth day of vasectomy mean?

my husband(38 yrs old) had a vasectomy Friday evening. Immiediate post symtoms were swelling and severe bruising the following day .Ice packed it for 36hrs ,taking ibruprofen, having slight discomfort. On Tuesday evening he experienced severe ithching and burning on scrotom skin and pain when touched for relief. Dr simply said take Benydryl for ithching(did'nt work). Perscribed Hydrocodone for pain. What is going on?

What does severe burning and itching of the scrotom skin after the fourth day of vasectomy mean?
Its getting well. No joke. It sounds like the symptoms you have when skill heals. The skin of the scrotum expands and contract so much that it makes the symptoms more pronounced.
Reply:i dunno sounds like an infection or something
Reply:it means its time to wash it
Reply:Go back to your doctor. If he is unresponsive, seek a second/third opinion. This is your health and the health of your sex life, don't play with that, get a second opinion pronto!
